I love the fact that anyone can view my video on facebook, and I think it is an awesome thing for the people who do to share it on their facebook wall.

Unfortunately, it’s still not allowed on facebook by the site, so to see who viewed it, you’ll have to go to the video’s page on facebook, and there you’ll need to click on the “share to…” button. However, I do like the fact that you can do this, because it will let your friends know it’s been viewed.

I have to stress that its still not allowed on facebook, because it contains ads. However, you can still use facebook’s privacy settings and find out if your friend viewed your video, or if that friend has your permission to see it on facebook.

I think there are some things here that are a little confusing, so I was hoping maybe you could get some clarification on it.

The only thing I have a doubt about is the fact that you don’t have a Facebook account for your video, but you do have a Facebook page. So the only thing I could think of is that it’s not an official Facebook form, but if you have a friend who likes you, you could put them up for a Facebook page.

I would think you would want to make sure the friend has permission to view your video. The only way Facebook will know this is if you have made a profile page with the video’s URL and the name of the page creator. If you don’t have permission to use your name for the page, the page creator will know. If you have permission, you can give the page a specific name and then the page owner will know it’s associated and can see it.

I know it sounds simple but there are a lot of potential pitfalls. If you dont share the video with the page owner or its associated Facebook page or if you don’t have permission to use your name, then all your friends and family will see it. Facebook has a page “viewer privacy” and it says to check your privacy settings to make sure nothing is blocking you from viewing your own video.

I don’t know why that is, but it’s not very clear. The word viewer is in bold, but I don’t see the word “user” there.
